The Wedding

There are milestones in life which we cherish. In this case it was our daughter’s wedding. From the time she was born, I knew she would some day have a wedding. As her dad, I’m grateful to have been a part of that special day. For those who know me (or don’t) I am a creative person on many levels. I have had opportunities in my life which allowed me to learn and expand my talent and have continued to do things I have a passion for. So, naturally I was able to envision many of the wedding design details. I orchestrated the florals, lighting, rentals, signage, program and fabricating things among others. Two gracious friends allowed us to use their properties. My daughter and I consulted on many of the details. It was important she felt it was she and Pablo’s wedding and not mine. Ha! I am so fortunate to have been able to express my creativity and expertise for the child I love and her now husband. There was a team of very talented people who helped us make it all happen – through a pandemic and week-long rain that wouldn't stop – I might add. I will forever be indebted to those who helped my vision come to life.
